11Heidelberg-Eppelheim, January 26, 2011 – Dentists give go-ahead for WILD’s Sunwin Stevia™ sweetener.

Toothfriendly International, a non-profit association governed by dental professionals, has given their seal of approval to WILD’s Sunwin Stevia™, made through its partnership with Sunwin International Neutraceuticals, Inc. (OTCBB:SUWN), based on a plaque-pH telemetry study conducted at the Dental Institute of the University of Zurich. The study was the first conducted by the Swiss institute that demonstrated that WILD’s Sunwin Stevia™ poses no risk for teeth, as it does not depress the plaque-pH below the critical level of 5.7. When the acid concentration falls below this threshold, teeth can be damaged.

The other high intense sweeteners also have toothfriendly properties. The approval confirms that food manufacturers can use WILD’s Sunwin Stevia™ as a sweetening ingredient within their formula of the final product. To state that the product is “safe for teeth” it must be granted that no cariogenic or erosive ingredients are used.
